The humble petition and appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Anne
within the Liberty of Westminster
in the County of
Middlesex
Sheweth
That by virtue of an Order under the Hands and
Seals of Cranley Thomas Herby and

Andrews Esquires
two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace
for the said County of Middlesex
(one whereof being
for the Quorum) bearing date the first day of this instant
September
Jane Hampstead< no role >
Widow of
Charles Hampstead< no role >
deceased and her Child
Jane< no role >
aged two Years and upwards
were removed and conveyed from and out of the parish of
Saint John the Evangelist
in the City of Westminster
in
the County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of Saint Anne
as the place of their last legal Settlement whereby your
petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved.
They therefore humbly appeal to this Court against
the adjudication and order of the said two Justices and pray
that your worships will appoint a day in the present
Session for hearing and determining thereof and that all
persons concerned therein may have notice to attend the
same
And your Petitioners will ever pray
