Middlesex to wit


The Information of John Wansey< no role > of Little Pater
noster Row in the Parish of Christ Church
Tallow Chandler and David Allen< no role > of the same
Parish Taylor .

This Informant John Wansey on his Oath saith
that on Saturday Evening last about eleven o'Clock
this Informant was in a Room behind his Shop and
hearing some Noise and Seattle in the Shop he went
into the Shop and there David Allen< no role > had got hold of
Joseph Harris< no role > the prisoner now under Examination
and told Informant the Prisoner had robbed the Shop of
some candles upon which Informant with the
Assistance of Allen took the said Joseph Harris< no role > to the
Watch house and Upon searching him there, found
concealed in this Bosom the eleven Candles now
produced which Informant believes to be his property
and to have stolen from his Shop by the said Joseph
Harris
< no role > And this Informant David Allen< no role > on his
Oath saith that being informed by his wife that some
Man was in the Act of stealing some candles in Mr
Wanseys Shop this Informant went into the Shop
that he saw the prisoner with his Hand upon the
Candle Box and verily believes he stole the Candles
which were found in his Bosom upon searching
him afterwards in the Watch house
