That every Fever is in some measure infectionsContagious
but that the present oneFeveris by no means what is
called The Goal Fever or of a kindNatureparticularly
Malignant

Your Commee Thereupon Ordered the following Steps &
Precautions be passed Vizt

That all the Beds in the Sick Ward of CB be repaired & New
Stuffing be supplied taking care to have the
Ticking well aired.

That every Bed she he supplied with a New Rug & where
wanted Lif any Additional Covering may be
necessary for the Sick that the same be
Supplied upon a Certificate from the
Apothecary .

It appeared [..] Commeefarther appearthat Many of the
disorders are occasioned by the Prisoners
comg in an a Week & debelited State of
Health covered wth Rags & Vernier & that if
Some Dress or uniform was provided for them
to wear in the prison it might be the means
of Preventing many of the Disorders incident to Prisons
