To His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the Peace
assembled

The Report of the Haymarket Committee

The said Committee Report That upon a General
Survey taken by them it is their Opinion that the Pavement of
the Haymarket is very much out of repair and that the
Contractor has neglected the repair thereof

That it is the Opinion of the Committee that the
said Street ought to be forthwith put into good and perfect repair
under the Inspection and Direction of Mr. Rogers the County
Surveyor and that no money should be issued to the Contractor
until Mr. Rogers shall Certify that the same is put into a
good and perfect state of repair

That Mr. Staines the Contractor was Informed
of the said Resolutions and agreed to put the same into repair
forthwith

That the Committee directed Mr. Rogers the
County Surveyor to Inspect the same

All which the Committee submit Etc
