late of the Liberty of Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents
in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn Labourer for a
certain Misdemeanour in inhumanly wilfully cruelly
and wickedly neglecting and refusing to provide any
Lodging Assistance of Relief whatsoever to one John Lodge< no role >
a poor impotent Person unable to provide for himself
casually found in a languishing and dying condition
distitute of any proper Lodging and in want of immediate
relief and assistance conveyed to the Watchhouse belonging
to the said Liberty to be provide with a proper Lodging and
necessary and immediate relief and assistance in his said
languishing and dying condition but inhumanly and
cruelly removing and causing to be removed the said John
from out of the said Watchhouse into a certain Street in
that part of the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn which lies
above the Bars and there leaving and causing the said
John to be left exposed to the inclemency of the Night Air
without any protection or relief whatsoever in consequence
whereof the said John Shortly afterwards died. By means
whereof the United Parishes of Saint Andrew Holborn above
the Bars and St. George the Martyn were put to great charge
in and about the burial ad funeral Expences of the said
John on the 26th. day of August last.
