[..] Defendants Solicitor maketh Oath that this Indictment having been found in December
Session lastThe above Defendant did in the last January Session Appear and Plead thereto
and did find Sufficient Sureties for his Personal Appearance at this Present Session of the
Peace to try his Traverse to this IndictmentAnd this Deponent Saith that on
Wednesday last he prepared a Notice to the above named Prosecutor Purporting
that the Defendant intended to appear at the (then) next Session of the Peace to be"
held at the Session House on Clerkenwell Green in and for the County of Middlesex "
[..] the twenty third Day ofFebruarythis Instant February And then and there try"
his Traverse to this Indictment"With which Notice this Deponent Attended at the
Defendants Lodgings in Petty France Westminster to the same Signed by him in
order to Serve the same on that DayAnd Saith [..] was not able to find the
[..] Defendant But on the next Day he Obtained [..] of the said Defendant
thereto and Attended Mr. Glynes of Burr Street [..] the Prosecutor's Solicitor
[..] informed him of the above Circumstance [..] requested him to
[..] such Notice for the Prosecutor, which he agreed [..] on Condition that he could
[..] Prosecutor to go to his Agent Mr. Chetham on the [..] Morning to get the Brief
[..] But Saith that the said Mr. Glynes has since [..] the said Notice to Mr.
[..] inclosed in a Note intimating that such Notice cou'd not be received as well
[..] And Saith that the said Defendants Sureties [..] willing and desirous that the
Recognizance entered into by them for the Appearance of [..] said Defendant at the
Present Session of the Peace may be respited until the next Session of the Peace
to be holden at the Session House aforesaid.
