Middlesex


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden for
the County of Middlesex at the Guildhall in King Street Westminster in the said
County on Thursday in the Week next after the feast of Saint Michael to wit the
Ninth day of October in the Twenty eighth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the third King of Great Britain Etc

We present a certain Brick Bridge called the Powder Mill Bridge situate and beingin the Parishes of
Heston and Isleworth as being
on Hounslow Heath in the Parishes of
Heston and Isleworth as being [..] so narrow and in so dangerous a
situation that the Subjects of our Lord the King as well on Foot as on
Horseback and Carriages cannot go return and pass over and alon [..]
the said Bridge with Safety but that by reason of the great declivity
on each Side of the said Bridge and for want of the same being properly
railed off the Subjects of out Lord the King on Horusback and in
Carriages going ovaer and along the said Bridge by day [..] and
especially in the Night time are in great danger of falling down of
and of losing their Lives

We present the parish of town of Hounslow [..] Isleworth for not having a Watch house on other
place of Security in the Hounslow within the said parish wherein
to keep Offenders apprehended [..] who have been Guilty
