MIDDLESEX .


AT the GeneralSession of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the Said County, ()
on Mondaythe EighthDay of Septemberin the
Twenty EighthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , William Bleamire< no role > , Thomas Gordon< no role > , Jacob Leroux< no role > ,
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the Same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint
Michael le Quern in the City of London Have at this present Session Exhibited their
Petition and Appeal setting forth That by Virtue of an Order or pass Warrant under
the Hands and Seals of William Blackmore< no role > Esquire and Herbert Mays< no role > Doctor in
Divinity two of this Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for the said County of
Middlesex (one being of the Quourm) bearing Date the 3d. day of June 1788. Henry
Maxey
< no role > and Jane< no role > his wife were removed and conveyed from and out of the parish of
Saint Georges in the said County of Middlesex unto the said Parish of St. Michael
Le Quern in the said City of London as the place of their lad legal settlement whereby
the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Now upon hearing the said Appeal
and what hath been alledged by the respective Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor of the said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the
Premises It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby dismissed
and the said Order or Pass Warrant of the said Two Justices is hereby confirmed
And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor of the said Parish of Saint Micheal le Quern London do maintain and
provide for the said Henry Maxey< no role > and Jane his wife until they can free
themselves from the charge thereof by due course of Law.
