AT the GeneralSession of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the Said County, ()
on Mondaythe EighthDay of Septemberin the
Twenty EighthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring

Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our Said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the Same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
West Ham in the County of Essex Have at this Present Session Exhibited their
Petition and Appeal Setting forth That by Virtue of an Order under the Hands and
Seals David Wilmot< no role > and William Blackmore< no role > Esquires Two of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one being of the Quourm)
bearing Date the Thirteenth day of August One Thousand Seven Hundred and
Eighty Eight John Pynn< no role > , Sarah< no role > his wife and four Children, John< no role > Aged Eleven
Years, Elizabeth< no role > nine; Sarah< no role > three, and Susannah< no role > One Year old were removed
from the Parish of Edmonton in the County of Middlesex unto the said Parish
of West Ham in the County of Essex at the place of their last legal settlement
whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Now upon hearing
the said Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective Chruchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses in
and concerning the Premises It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the
same is hereby dismissed and the said Order of the said Two Justices is hereby
confirmed And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of West Ham do maintain and
provide for the said John Pynn< no role > , Sarah his wife and four Children until
they can free themselves from the charge thereof by due course of Law.
