To the Worshipful his Majesty's
Justices of the peace in and for the
County of Middlesex in their General
Session of the Peace assembled

The Humble Petition & Appeal of the Church
Wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Luke Old Street in the said County of
Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant-
under the Hands and Seals of the Revd. Sir George-
Booth Bart
< no role > . and William Blackborow< no role > Esquires two
of his Majesties Justices of the peace in and for the
said County of Middlesex (and one of them of the Quorum)
bearing date the 10th. day of May 1786 Elizabeth
Lee
< no role > (Wife of Peter Lee< no role > and their Son Peter were removed
and Conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint
James at Clerkenwell to the said Parish of Saint Luke
Old Street as the place of the Lawful Settlement of
the said Elizabeth Leo and Peter the Son.

That in as much as your Petitioners do Conceive
themselves Aggrieved by the said Order or Pass Warrant
& the Removal & Conveyance of the said Elizabeth Lee< no role >
and her Son Peter in Pursuance thereof

Your Petitioners therefore Appeal against
the said Order and humbly may relief in the
Premisses And that your Worships will be
pleased to appoint some day in this present
Session for the hearing & determining This
their said Appeal

And your Petitioners shall over Pray Etc.
