To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex their General Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Giles in
the Fields in the said County

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands
and Seals of Thomas Cogan< no role > and William Blackborow< no role > Esquires two
of his Majestys Justices of the Peace acting in and for the said County
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the twenty Eighth day
of November last Catherine Cavenagh< no role > together with her illegitimate
Child named Richard< no role > Aged about Fourteen Months for Nurture
were Removed and Convey'd from and out of the Parish of St
Mary Islington in the said County to the said Parish of St Giles in
the Fields as the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Catherine Cavenagh whereby Your Petitioners conceive themselves
Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly appeal to this
Court against the Adjudication of the said two Justices
And their said Order and Pray that Your Worships
will appoint a day in this Present Session for the
hearing and determining the said Appeal

And Your Petitioners will Pray Etc.
