To The Worshipul His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace acting in and for the County of Middlesex in
General Quarter Session of the Peace assembled.

Sheweth


The humble Petition and appeal of
The churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Shalburn in the County
of Berks.

That by virtue of a certain Order or Pass warrant bearing
date the Thirteenth day of September in the year of our Lord One
thousand seven hundred and eighty five under the Hands and
Seals of Henry Lambe< no role > Esquire and Thomas Fellows< no role > Esquire two
of His Mjesty's Justices of the peace in and for the said County of
Middlesex and one of them of the Quorum John Blundy< no role > and
Sarah < no role > his wife and their four children namely Ann< no role > aged
Eighteen Years John < no role > about Twelve years of Age, Major < no role > Seven
years of Age and Jane < no role > about Eighteen Months old were removed
from and out of the Toun of Uxbridge in the said County of Middlesex
to the said parish of Shalburn in the County of Berks as the place
of the lawful Settlement of them the said John Blundy< no role > and Sarah his
Wife and their said four Children Ann, John, Major and Jane
whereby Your Petitioners apprehend themselves to be aggrieved.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal
against the said Order or Pass Warrant
and pray that the benefit of their said Appeal
may be saved unto them and that the
hearing and determining thereof may be
adjourned until the next General Session of
the Peace to be holden in and for the said
County of Middlesex
