Mary Gast< no role > Widow
For an Assault.

William Billers< no role > of Howland Street in the Parish of Saint
Pancras in the County of Middlesex Esquire the Defendant abovenamed
and George Giles< no role > of Carey Street within [..] the Liberty of the Rolls in the [..]
County Gentleman Severally Make Oath and Say and first this
Deponent William Billers< no role > for himself Saith That at the last
September Sessions an Order being made in the above Prosecution that Notice
of Trial to be left at the last place of abode of the abovenamed prosecutrix
for this present Session should be deemed good Service in case the
Prosecutrix or her present abode could not be found in the mean time
He this Deponent has since accordingly made and caused to be made
diligent Enquiry after the said Prosecutrix but has not been able
to find out her present place of abode so that he could not cause
her to be served with such Notice of Trial which otherwise he
would have done And this Deponent George Giles< no role > for
himself Saith that on the Tenth day of October instant he this
Deponent left a true Copy of the Notice of Trial hereunto annexed
at the House of [..] George Percival< no role > [..] in Warden Street Soho [..]
and as this Deponent believes with the said George percival< no role > himself for the
said Prosecutrix (the same being the last place of abode of the
said Prosecutrix as this Deponent was informed) and the said George
Percival
< no role > then informed this Deponent that the [..] Prosecutrix had
lived there and that if he should see her again he would give
her the said Notice.
