It is Ordered that the said Petn he referred to
the Committee appointed to examine and Audit the
demands made upon this County as to consider
the Allegations contained in the said petn. & to report
their opn. thereon

Recommendn
relative to the
Publicans being
excluded from
the Office of
Surveyors of ye
Highways }


A Motion was made and Seconded That In
Addn. to the Recommendn. of The Magistrates in
Easter Sessn. last "That Nopson who keeps an
Alehouse should be sworn into the office of petty
Constable Etc. That It he further recommended
to His Majesty's Justices of the peace acting in &
for the said County "That Nopson keeping an
Alehouse should Rechosen a Surveyor of the parish
Highways" Which being carried unanimously

Resolved That the Clerk of the peace do write a
Circular Letter to the several Justices acting for this
County informing them of such recommendn. & that a
due Observance thereof would tend greatly to the advantage
of the publick
