the Poor of the Parish of Kirtlington N. E. of Woodstock
in the County of
Oxford.
Sheweth
That by virtue of an order or Pass Warrant under the hands and
seals of H. K. Courttnay and
Jno. Griffiths< no role >
Exquires two of his Majesties
Justices of the peace
in and for the City and Liberty of Westminster
in the
County of Middlesex
, (one whereof being of the quorum) bearing date the
23d. day of February 1785
Thomas Subtree< no role >
a single man
was removed
and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
within the liberty of Westminster
in the said County of Middlesex
to
the said Parish of Kirtlington
(therein described Kirkington
) as the place
of his last legal settlement
Your Petitioners conceiving themselves aggrieved by the said
order or pass Warrant of the said two Justices do humbly
appeal against the same: and pray that the hearing
and determining thereof may be adjourned to the next
general Sessions of the peace to be holden in and for the
County of Middlesex
and that the Court will be pleased
to appoint a day in the next Sessions for the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
George Hannover Square
aforesaid and all other persons
concerned then to attend to hear and abide the Judgment
and determination of the then Court touching the said
