WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, whose
Hands and Seals are hereunto set, being two of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace , in and for the County of Mid-
dlesex, (one whereof being of the Quorum) by the Church
Wardens or Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary
Whitechapel , in the said County,
That Ann Cartwright< no role > singlewoman
hath
lately come to inhabit in the said Parish of St. Mary White-
chapel , not having gained any legal Settlement there, nor pro-
duced any Certificate acknowledging her to the settled else-
where, and is likely to become chargeable to the said Parish:
We, the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises upon
Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true,
and do also adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the
said Ann Cartwright< no role >
to be in the Parish of St Botolph Aldgate in the
City of London

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, and by Virtue
of the Statutes in that Behalf, to require you, on Sight
hereof, to remove and convey the said
Ann Cartwright< no role >
from and out of your said Parish of St. Mary Whitechapel , to
the said Parish of St Botoph Aldgate
and her deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this our Or-
der, or a true Copy hereof, who are hereby required to receive
and provide for her
according to Law. Give under our Hands and Seals this
