At a Meeting of the Committee of His Majestys Justices
of the Peace
for the County appointed "To examine and
"adjust from time to time the Account or Accounts of the
"Treasurer of this County as well with respect to his Receipts
"as his Expenditures and also to examine and audit all
"demands of what nature of kind so ever made upon this
"County previous to the payment thereof " holden at the
Session house for the said County on Monday the 24th
day of January 1785.
It is Ordered that Mrs Margaret Benson< no role >
Widow
and relict of the late Mr John Benson< no role >
Treasurer
of this County
do forthwith deliver over to the Clerk of the Peace
of this County
or his Deputy all the Accounts and Vouchers and other Books
Papers and Writings belonging to this County and remaining in
the hands of the said Mr. Benson as Treasurer or Receiver as
aforesaid at the time of his decease

of this County that there
remained in his hands at the time of his decease a Balance due to
the County Stock of £873.18..4½ arising in the following manner
