Peace for the County of Middlesex
in Sessions Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Woodford in the County
of Essex

Sheweth


That by an Ordered under the hands and
Seals of N. Conant and Jenkin Jones< no role > Esqr. two
of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
said Ordered That George Fowler< no role > and Mary< no role >
his Wife lately come into the Parish of Saint
Luke in the said County of Middlesex endeavoring
to settle there contrary to Law, and likely to
become Chargeable to the said Parish And
Adjudged that the said Parish of Woodford
in the County of Essex is the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the said George Fowler< no role >
and his said Wife Whereby Your Petitioners
and Appellant are very much Aggrieved

Your Petitioners and Appellants
therefore most Humbly pray Your
Worships to hear and take their
Case into Consideration against
such Order and that the same
may be quashed and to grant such
other Releif in the premises as to
your Wisdom shall meet

And your Petitioners and Appellants
as in duty bound shall [..] over pray Etc.
