To the Constable of the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate , in
the County of Middlesex , or the Headborough there:And also
to the Contractor employed for the passing and conveying of
Rogues and Vagabonds within the said County; and to all
Constables and other Officers whom it may concern,
to receive
and convey; and to the Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens, or
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Paul Shadwell
in the County of Middlesex
or either of them to receive and obey.

WHEREAS William Gibbons< no role > was
apprehended in the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate , aforesaid, as a Vagabond
Videlicit Wandering abroad & begging where
with Mary< no role > his Wife
and upon Examination of the said William Gibbons< no role > taken
before me in Writing, and upon Oath; which Examination is hereunto annexed,
it doth appear that his last legal Settlement is at the Parish of St. Paul
Shadwell aforesaid: These are therefore to require you the said
Constable, or other Officer to convey the said William Gibbons< no role > & his wife [..] hes
Parish of St Paul Shadwell to the House of Correction at Clerkenwell , from
whence the said Contractor is to convey. to the Parish of
that being the first Parish in the next
Precinct, through which ought to pase in the direct Way to the said Parish
ofto which Parish
to be sent and to deliver to the Constable or other Officer of such Parish
in such next Precinct together with this Pass and the Duplicate of the Examination
of the saidtaking his Receipt for the same:
And
the said to be thence
conveyed on in the like Manner to the said Parish of

there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or Overseer of the
Poor of the same Parish, to be there provided for according to Law. And you the
said Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or Overseer of the Poor are hereby required
to receive the said Person and provide for them as aforesaid. Given under my
Hand and Seal this fifth Day of February 1784
