Archibald Campbell< no role >

James Davids< no role > on the above Defendant Maketh Oath & Saith
that according to the Directions of this Honble Court
the last Sessions (of Decr 1783) this Deft at the last
known place of Abods at a public House in Little Saint Maintain's Lane as well as at the Chambers
of the Prosecutors Attorney left a Notice a Copy of
which is Annexed hereto purporting that this Deponent
as the Defendant in this prosecution was ready to by
his Traverse on the Indictment preferred against him
on Monday the 12th of January Inst which said two
Notices were Served or left at the above places on
Monday the 5th of January last
