Henry Barnett< no role > of Little Prescot Street near Goodmans Fields in
the County of Middlesex Hardwareman the Defendant above named and
William Lewis Newman< no role > of Falcon Square London Gentleman severally
make Oath and say and first this Deponent the said Henry Bamett< no role > for
himself saith that since the last Session he hath made diligent Enquiry by
himself and others where Walter Bolger the prosecutor in this Cause might be
met with in order that this Deponent might have Caused a Notice of Trial
to be served upon the said prosecutor for this present Session but this Deponent that
not been able to learn where the said prosecutor is to be found or any plane
where he has resided And this Deponent saith that the said Walter Bolger
is a entire Stranger to this Deponent having never seen him since this Deponent
was apprehended for Assaulting him and this Deponent further saith that on
the fifteenth day of July being the day on which the Assault is changed in the
Indictment in this Cause tohave been Committed he this Deponent was standing at
his own Door where two Men were fighting one of whom this Deponent believes
was the said Walter Bolger and this Deponent told the said Men that if they
did not go away he would send for a Constable and which is the only Transaction
this Deponent ever had with the said Walter Bolger And lastly this aid Henry
Bamett< no role > saith that he is also an entire Stranger to Moses Barnett< no role > the other
Defendent named in the Indictment in this Cause hearing never seen the said
Moses Barnett< no role > to this Deponents Knowledge And this Deponent the said William
Lewis Newman< no role > for himself saith that on Wednesday the seventh day of January
instant he this Deponent left a true Copy of the Notice here unto annexed signed by
the said Deponent Henry Barnett< no role > with Mr. Daniel Kinley< no role > at the Office of the
Clerk of the peace for the said County of Middlesex together with a Copy of the Order
of this Court also annexed.

Sworn at the General Quarter Session of the peace
holden in and for the County of Middlesex at the Session
house for the said County Monday the 12th day of
January 1784}
