Jacob
as his place of last legal Settlement
The Paepers same time agee became hired to Mr Beaufoy & Smith who
carried on the Bussiness of Whitsters and Embopers at the Wiste
is the Parish
Hackney
he was hered by Mr Beaufoy as a weekly Servant in that Business he
was paid by the Weeks as his other Weekly Servants and if he assembled himself
from his work wheneeds he did it the true was deducted from his Wayes
he Boarded himself and he lodged his used of the Working Houses and paidallowed
Mr Beaufoy and Smith Weekly not of his Wages for his lodging he continued us
this Service in the above manner upwards of a Year and then had a shoke of the
Plase 7 by which he pastly last the rd of one side and [..] his
Service and laying about and lodging in outhands was at last taken up by the parish
Officers and vagrant and sent by a Mistake to a Parish in Bristol
adjouring to the
Parish of the appullant only parted by a Rives after same stay there to be came
back to Hackney used was then removed by a Settlement pass as above mentioned
Pauper puetended he was hired by the year to Mr Beaufoy but Mr Beaufoy
declares he was not not do they ever hire any of this out Door Servant in that
manner therefore it must le suppnd in charity to the Pauper that his Disorder
must have trust his Intellects and occasioned the mistake
