that the comon Sewer in Blossom Street
in the
Liberty of Norton Folgate
has fall'n in the
current of the water stoptd. and the business of
paving the said street, totally impeded; I have
applyd to James Wood< no role >
Esqr
one of the late
Commissioners of Sewers
to have the said [..] made
good with new covering Mr Wood inform'd me
that the Commission was out, no one had Power
to act and that I must apply to your Worships
for advice and order I beg lease to mention
to your Worships that if Honor'd with your order
to repair the same by covering it, with old Purbeck
paving which will last for ever, and cost but three
pence of Foot instead of three inch oak plant.
of 12d of Foot the whole of pence will amount
only to a few shillings I Presence less than two
pounds
