I have laid before the Noblemen and
Gentleman who form the several Committees
appointed by the Inhabitants of the different
Districts of the Parish of Saint Mary le bone , to
carry into Effect a Plan of Association for the
purpose of Strengthening the Civil Power, so that
Peace and good Order may hence forward be
effectually preserved in the said Parish without
the Aid or interposition of a Military force,
Your Letter dated Guildhall , Westminster
4th: July 1780; and the same having been this
Day taken into Consideration at a General
Meeting of the said several Committees, who
were Summoned to Confer together on the Subject,
