MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks Hall , in Saint John-Street ,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the twenty ninth
Day of [..] in the twentieth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King
of Great Britain Etc. Before Sir John Hawkins< no role >
[..] the Reverend Sir George Booth< no role > Baronet
William Mainwaring< no role > George Allock< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid; and also to hear and determine divers Felonies,
Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours committed in the
same County

Whereas Charles Brackenbury< no role > Esquire Hath at this present [..]
[..] and Appeal setting forth That the Petitioner rents a [..]
[..] en in the parish of Paddington in the County of Middle [..]

[..] parish of Paddington on the seventeenth day of March [..]
[..] and ordered that a rate of one Shilling in the pound should by [..]
[..] purpose of enabling Mr Booker then Overseer of the said parish to [..]
[..] Poor and for other purposes relative to the poor and to discharge sunday [..]
[..] Messrs Walbank & Crompton who had formerly been Overseers of [..]
Paddington That the Petitioner hath been called upon to pay such rate [..]
been threatened with a Distress for nonpayment thereof That the Petitioner
conceives such rate to be exorbitant and made to discharge the expences ofseveral [..]
suits between the said Parish and several other persons previous to the Petition [..]
commencing Tenant of the said Tarn and Premises as aforesaid Whereby the
Petitioner conceives himself [..] Now upon hearing the said Appeal and what
hath been alledged by the [..] Parties their Counsel and Witness in and [..]
the Premises It is ordered that the said Appeal be dismissed and the same is hereby [..] ed
accordingly.
