WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto Us, two of
His MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace in and for the
County of MIDDLESEX (one whereof being of the
[..] Quorum) by the Church Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Lukes in the said County that
Mary Jain< no role > Wife of William Jain< no role > of who
is in the East Middlesex Militia ) and
her Child named John< no role > aged about
Twelve Months have
lately came into the said Parish, endevouring to Settle there,
contrary is Law. And is appeareth unto us the said Justices
and we do adjuge that they are hereby to become Charge-
able to the said Parish; and upon Examination of the said
Mary Jain taken upon eats
it further appeareth unto us and we do likewise adjudge that
the Parish of of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the
Countyof Middlesex
the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said Mary
Jain and her said Child
These are therefore in his MAJESTY'S Name to charge and
Command the church wardens and Overseers of the Peas of the
said Parish of St. Luke Sarah with to remove and convey the said
Mary Jain and her said Child
From the said Parish of St. Luke to the said Parish of
Saint Leonard Shoreditch and aelives them the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there. or to poor
or one of them, who are hereby required to Provide for them
according to Law GIVEN under our Hards and Seas
the 20th Day of January 1780

To the Church-Wardens and [..]
of the Poor of the respective Parish
of St. Luke , in the County of MID -
DLESEX and Saint Leonard
Shoreditch in the said
County
and to all other Officer whom it any
concern
