The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of parish of Chatham

the County of Kent
.
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an order of Removal appearing to be under
the Hands and Seals of
Thomas Lockwood< no role >
and G. Allcock Esquires
two of his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex
bearing Date the Seventeenth Day of December last
Mary Billings< no role >
Singlewoman
was removed from the Parish of Saint Mary le
Bone
in the said County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of
Chatham
the said Justices thereby adjudging that to be the place of
the last legal Settlement of the said
Mary Billings< no role >
.
That your Petitions conceive themselves aggrieved by the
said Order and Judgment of the said two Justices and do humbly
appeal there from.
Your Petitioners therefore most
humbly pray that your Worships would be
pleased to appoint some Day in his present
Session to hear this their Appeal and to make
an Order that the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint [..]
Mary le Bond
and all Parties concerned in
and about the Premisses may then and there
hear and abide the determination of your
Worships therein.
And your Petitioners shall ever
