That Your Petitioner was by Indenture of apprentice
ship bearing date the 17th. day of June 1774 bound out an
apprentice by the Govrs: of Christ Hospital
to
Richard

of George's Court Clerkenwell
in the sd. County
of Middx and the Sum of Ten pounds was given with
him to the sd

as an apprentice Fee
as by the sd Indenture when produced will more fully
appear
That Your Petitioner hath duly and truly Served
his Time hither to but his sd. Master hath neglected [..]
to Teach and instruct him properly as he ought to do
and has lately Advertized and Sold off his Tools and
Implements in Trade and declined his Business and
without the Consent of your Petitioner or his Friends
intends to make a property of your Petitioner and Assign
him over to another person in a different Branch for
the Consideration of Thirty Pounds which the sd. person
refusing to pay Tour Petitioner is likely to be harrassed
and Hawked about from End to another (until his sd
Master has made his Bargain of him) and thereby loss
all his further Time of Instruction
That notwithstanding your Petitioner has but
about One Year and Seven Months to Serve of his Time
yet he is not so proficient in his Business as he Ought
