Middlesex


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord
the King holden in and for the County of Middlesex at
Hicks Hall in Saint John Street (by adjournment) on
Thursday the Thirteenth day of January in the Twentieth
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
third King of Great Britain Etc Before Sir Jessop

Justices of our said lord the King assigned to keep
the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to
hear and determine divers felonies Trespasses and
other Misdemeanors committed in the same
County

The following order made on the County day of the last
Session of the peace holden for this County inanded as a standing
Order for the Regulation of Part of the business of the Court being now laid
before this Court according to the Rule and Order in such case
for farther Consideration and Confirmation Vizt. The
" Chairman having laid before the Court the following Papers
" which had been delivered to him by order of the Lord Mayor Judges
" Recorder and other Magistrates holding the present Session of Goal Delivery
" of Newgate Vizt." The Lord Mayor Judges Recorder and other
" " Magistrates now attending the Session at the old Bailey
" " Present their Compliments to the Chairman and Justices at
" " Hicks Hall and acquaint them that they have thought Proper
" " to revive a former order of this Court for bringing forward the
" " Public Business and desire that the Justices will be pleased
" " to take into their immediate Consideration any other effectual
" " means for Expediting the felony Bills on the first day of the
" " Session so that the Court here may not for the future be obliged
