WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, Two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for
the County Middlesex
aforesaid (one Whereof being of the
Quorum), by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Tweekenham
in the Said County, That John a Child aged
three years and upwards hath lately
been deserted and left in the Said
Parish with Instant too be Settled

there, Contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
Said Justices, and we do adjudge that he is likely
to become Chargeable to the Said Parish; and upon Exa-
mination of the Premises upon Oath, and other Cir-
cumstance, it Further appeareth unto us, and we do like-
wise adjudge, that the Parish of St. Mary le bone
in the Said County
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the Said John
THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to Charge and
Command the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Said Parish of Twickenham
fortwith to remove and Convey the Said John
from the Said Parish of Twickenham
to the Said Parish of St. May le bone
and deliver him to the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to Some, or one of them, who are
hereby required to Provide for him according to Law.
