Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St [..] Southwark in the
County of Surry .

Sheweth

That by an Order or Pass Warrant under ye
Hands & Seals of Joseph Newsom< no role > and Cadwallader
Coker< no role > Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middx One being of the
Quorum bearing date the Fourth Day of August
1769. One Elizabeth Satchwell< no role > therein called the
Wife of William David< no role > Satchwell who was
mentioned to be gone from her Andleftto have
left her destitute and unprovided for and her
Child named Elizabeth< no role > aged Seven Months and
Upwards were removed and conveyed from the
Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the
County of Middx to the said Parish of Saint
Saviour Southwark as the place of [..]
Settlement Whereby your Petrs. Conceive them
selves Aggrieved and Pray relief in the
Premes.
