To the Worshipfull the Justices of Peace at the
Sessions held at Hicks Hall for ye. County of Middx

The humble Petition of Joseph Cocks< no role > head

Sheweth


That your Petr. hath served one William
Bannister
< no role > of Westmr . as his Apprentice for yr. Space of
4 Yeares & upwards, but now the sd. Bannister hath causes
your Petr. to be pressed & sent into ye savey where her
new remains confined in order to be sent forthwith
on Boardinto her mates. Service.

That the sd. Bannister notwithstanding presents a
Right to the remainder of ye Petrs. Time for which he
was bound to him & refuses to give him up his Indenting
& also detains ye Petr. Clothes.

Yor. Petr. therefore pray's the sd Bannster
may deliver was his Indentures & defection
him of & Remaindr. of his time, and
also restore him his Clothes.

And you Petr. shall ever pray Etc
