To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justice's of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Sessions
of the Peace at Hick's Hall Assembled.

The humble petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden within the
City and Liberty of Westminster in the county
of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order
under the Hands and Seals of Philip Dyot< no role > and
John Cox< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justice's of
the Peace Acting in and for the County of Middlesex
aforesaid (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
Date the third Day of November One Thousand
Seven hundred and Seventy four Sarah Hadley< no role >
Singlewoman was removed from the Parish of
Saint Giles in the Fields within the said County
to the said Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden
as the place of her last legal Settlement Whereby
your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved and do
Appeal to this Court against the same.

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court
will be pleased to appoint a Day in this
Present Session for the hearing and determining
of the said Appeal And that all Persons
concerned may be then directed to Attend.

And your Petitioners shall pray Etc.
