Brief for the Parish of Enfield Middlesex

1st. Novr. 1774


Mary Green< no role > of Enfield Singlewoman by her Examination in Writing taken on Oath
before Daniel Wilmot< no role > Esqr. one Etc. Did declare that she was with Child and that
the said Child was likely to be born a Bastard and to be chargeable to the said Parish
of Enfield and did charge James Johnson< no role > of Blackman Street in the Borough of
Southwark Labourer with having gotten the said Child on her Body with which she
is now pregnant

The said James Johnson< no role > was taken up by a Justices Warrant and on the Fourth
Day of Novembersentered into Recognizances together with John Benfield< no role > of Giltspur
Street West Smithfield in the City of London Furrier and Tobias Wildbore< no role > of the
Parish of St. George in the Borough of Southwark Victualler before Mr. Justice
Wilmot to appear at this Session

Mr. Lucas will please to appear for Enfield & get the proper order Etc
NB. The Woman is not yet brought to bed
