Middlesex to wit


The Information of Samuel
Sephronius Deacon
< no role > and Phillip
Weldon
< no role > taken before me one of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the said County

Who being severall upon Oath say and first
this Informant Samuel Sephronius Deacon for
himself saith that about the 28th day of Septr. last he this
Informant in pursuant of an advertisement in the Public
News Papers Apply to Mr William Cawthorne< no role > at No. 16
Cavendish Street. in Order to Enquire of him touching
the purchase of a place of Two Hundred Guiness [..]
under the Company then by the said Advertisment said
to be Establishing for the purpose of Raising a Fand for
Reducing the price of Coals that thereupon the said
William Cawthorne< no role > pretended to this Informant that
there was a Company formed for the purpose aforesaid [..]
the [..] be was the Manages of such Company
and that there Ron was near one Hundred & fifty Thousand
Pounds Subscribed And the place so Advertised was Re
Place of Wholesale Store keeper under Re said Company
which was to bedisposed of at the price of Two Hundred
Geinea, And that there was but Five of such places out
of Fifty then Vacant & that the said Sum of Two Hundred
ten Pounds must be immediatly paid by this Informant
into a Bankers Hands or that [..] a deposit of £50
in part thereof was to be paid into his the said
Cawthornes hands and that if the said Sum of £50
was not paid by this Informant to him Resaid
Cawthrone by the next day [..] at 12 o' Clock he could
not promise him this Informant the said Place And
this Informant Further Saith That he did the next
day at 12 o Clock go to the said Mr Cawthornes and did th [..]
