John Oughton< no role > of Wills Street in the parish of Saint Mary le bone
otherwise Marybone in the County of Middlesex Coachman
maketh Oath That the said Jane Oughton< no role > his Wife being bound
ever with Justices for her Appearance at Hicks Hall last at
September Session He this Deponent on the Thursday morning
in the said September Session Week attended the Court at
Hicks Hall and applyed to a person in the Court in his own
Dock brown or black Hair who appeared to be one of the Clerks
belonging the Court and sat with his back towards the
Door and gave him Six pence to search if any Indictment
was found against the said Jane Oughton< no role > who informing
this Deponant these was none he thin asked him what he
had to pay to discharge her Recognizaces who then told
him Two shillings and Eight pence which this Deponent
them paid him and at the time he received it he informed
this Deponent that he need not be afraid for nothing more
woud come on it
