At the Delivery of the Kings Gaol of Newgate holden for the County of
Middlesex on Wednesday the 18th. day of May 1774.

Whereas John Ward< no role > at this present Session been Convicted of Felony
on the Prosecution of Ann Brookland< no role > Widow and the said Ann Brookland< no role >
having prayed to be allowed for her Expences and loss of time in the said
Prosecution which this Court think reasonable It is therefore Ordered by this Court
that the Treasurer of this County do forthwith pay to the said Ann Brookland< no role >
the Sum of Twenty Two Shillings for his Expences and loss of time
