the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell

Sheweth
That by a pass Warrant or Order under the Hands
and Seals of Sir

in and for the County of
Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
Twentieth day of April 1774: A Male Bastard Child named

aged about four Months born on the Body of
Sarah

Singlewoman
was removed from and out of the Parish
of Saint Lake in the said County to the Parish of Saint James
Clerkenwell
as the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Male Bastard Child by which your Petitioners conceive themselves
aggrieved and humbly appeal therefrom:
Your Petrs. therefore humbly pray that a
day may be appointed for the hearing and
determining their said Appeal and that your
Worships would be pleased to make such
Order in the Premisses as to your Worships
Shall seem just and Your Petr. shall ever pray Etc.
