For an Assault

James Mattocks< no role > of Mutton Lane in the Parish
of Saint James Clerkenwell in the County of
Middlesex the prosecutor abovenamed maketh
Oath and saith that he this Dept did in April
Session last prefer a Bill of Indictment against
the abovenamed Deft which said Bill was found
by the Grand Jury at Hicks Hall in Saint John
Street in the County aforesd. as this Dept hath been
informed and verily believe and the said Ann
Peak
< no role > was afterwards apprehended and taken by
a Bench Warrant and put in Bail for the same
And this Dept. saith that he did on Wednesday
the Eleventh day of May instant receive from the
[..] Deft the annexed Notice of Trial and in
pursuance thereof caused five Witnesses to be
Subpenied in order to give Evidence on the behalf of
this Dept And this Dept saith that he hath this day
