To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex in their
General Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal
of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields
within the Liberty of Westminster in
the County of Middlesex

Sheweth.


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or
Order of Removal under the Hands and
Seals of John Phillips< no role > and Willm. Timbrell< no role >
Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex aforesaid (One
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date
the twenty second Day of September last Anne
Wood
< no role > Widow of Tobias Wood< no role > Aged upwards of
Thirty years and her five Children by her said
husband Vizt. Anne < no role > Aged Eight Years, Joseph < no role > upwards of Six years, Thomas < no role > upwards of four
years , Mary < no role > Aged three years Elizabeth < no role > and aged
Seven Months were removed from the Parish
of Saint George Hanover Square within the
Liberty and County aforesaid to the Parish of
Saint Martin in the Fields aforesaid as the
Place of their last legal Settlement by which
your Petitioners Apprehend themselves Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore Pray
That this Court will be pleased to
appoint some Day in this present
Session for the Hearing and
Determining the said Appeal

And your Petrs. will Pray Etc
