of MIDDLESEX (one whereof being of the Quorum
by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. LUKE , in the County, That
Susanna Latham< no role > Daughter of Thomas Latham< no role >
(Who is gone for an East India Soldier) by Elizabeth< no role >
his Wife who is likely deceased [..]
aged about four years or there abouts hath
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to Settle there,
contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the said Justices,
and we do adjudge that she is likely to become charge
able to the said Parish; and upon Examination of James
Higgins
< no role > taken upon Oath
it further appeareth unto us, and we do likewise adjudge, that
the parish of Saint Peters in the City of Oxford
is the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Susanna Latham
These are therefore in His MAJESTY's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of St. LUKE , forthwith to remove and convey the
said Susanna Latham< no role >
from the said Parish of St. LUKE , to the said Parish of
Saint Peters and deliver her to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them, who are hereby required to provide for her
according to Law. GIVEN under our Hands and Seals
the 23d. Day of December 1767

To the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the respective Parishes
of St. LUKE , in the County of MID-
DLESEX, and Saint Peter in
the City of Oxford
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
