The Information of Thomas Gahagar< no role >
taken before me this 16th. day of Decemr. 1767

Who being upon Oath says that he knows John Clark< no role >
otherwise Casey< no role > now in Custady, William Stephens< no role > now in
Custody likewise and William Sims< no role > , John Carrol< no role > ,a young
man who generally goes by the Name of Crackers and a
Carpenter whose Name he does not know who are all common
Thievesthat last Winter this Informant and the said William
Sims
< no role > stole two pieces of Bacon from a Cheesemonger 's in
Wapping which sd. Sims sent to be sold but never gave this
Informant any of the Money that about three Months ago
this informant and the said John Carrol< no role > stole out of a
Shoemaker's Shop at Ratcliffe Cross 8 pair of Shoes about
9 o' Clock one Evening which they sent to be sold by a Woman
who goes by the Name of Gin Drinker who sold them for two
Shillings a pair, that about a fortnight ago the said John
Clark
< no role > , the said William Stephens< no role > and this Informant stole
a Girl's red Cloak, 2 Dor. of Caps 2 pieces of Gowze, 2
Handkerchiefs and other things out of a Milliners Shop
on Cock Hill, that part of the Gawze was sold to Joseph Levi< no role >
for six Shillings, that the red Cloak was pawned and that
the rest of the things were sent by the said Gin Drinker to
be sold who has never yet returned with the Money, that this
Informant went into the said Millener's Shop & stole the
things & that the said Clark & Stephens stood at the Door,
that last Tuesday Night was a Week this informant the said
John Clark< no role > & the said Wm. Stephens stole out of a pawnbrokers
Shop near Old Gravel Lane two blue Coats, 2 Sheets, an
old white Gown a black gown a grogram Cardinal and a
pair of Breeches which they sent to be sold by Joseph
