At the general Session of the peace of our Lord
the king holden for the county of Middlesex at Hicks
Hall in Saint John Street in the said County (by
adjournment) or Thursday the tenth day of September
in the seventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord george the third King of Great Britain Etc. before
John Hawkins< no role > , Thomas Lane< no role > , Benjamin Cowley< no role > , Thomas
Niccoll
< no role > Esquires and others their Fellows Justices of our Lord King
assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and
determine diverse Felonies Trespasses and other misdemeanours
committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Yalding
in the County of Kent Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal
settingforth that by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hand and Seal
of Richard Manley< no role > Esquire one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the City of
Westminster bearing date the Ninth day of July last Jane Fielder< no role > Spinster Apprehended
in the Parish of Saint Margaret in the said Cityand Libertyof Westminster as a
Rogue and Vagabond was conveyed and carried from the said Parish of St. Margaret to
the said Parish of Yalding as the Place of her last legal Settlement whereby the Petitioner
did conceive themselves aggrieved Now upon hearing of the said Appeal and what
hath been Alledged on either side by the respective Churchwardens and Overseers their
Council and Wilnesses in and concerning the Premisses It is Ordered that the said
Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed accordingly and the said Pass Warrant or
Order of the saidJustice is hereby Quashed and Vacated and it is further
Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Yalding
or some or one of them do forthwith Convey and Deliver back the said Jane Fielder
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Margaret Westminster or to some or one of them
who are hereby required to receive and Provide for her until they can Free themselves
from the charge thereof by due course of law And it is also Ordered that the Church
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Margaret Westminster
do forthwith pay or Cause to be Paid to the Church wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Yalding the Sum of Twenty shillings for their charges and
Expences in releiving and maintaining the said Jane Feilder since her removal
