Take Notice that I intend personally to appear at the General Quarter
Session of the peace to be held (by Adjournment) at Hicks Hall in Saint John
Street in and for the County of Middlesex on Tuesday the Fourteenth of July instant
at Eight of the Clock in the Forenoon & then & there plead Not Guilty to the Indictment by you
preferred against me for an Assault & at the same Time try my Traverse
thereon Dated the Seventh Day of July 1767
