The Information of John Cross< no role > taken
before me this 3d..day of July 1767

Who being upon Oath says that he knows William Jones< no role > and
the Smith now in Custody with him, says that on Tuesday last
he met with them in Bow Street that they all agreed to Walk
into the fields and accordingly setout together and walked
about the Streets until about Two o'Clock in the Morning
and then it was proposed by said Jones togo and Steal
some Cucumbers in a Garden behind the Adam and Era
near Tottenham Court Turnpike whither they went but
finding no Cucumbers they broke into the little House in
the Garden which he since finds belongs to Mr. Baikie now
present and that they Stole there out two Towels or [..] trips
a Looking Glass five China Cups and Saucers a Docket Book and also
an Rd Linen Hand Kerchief and farther saith that the
said Jones and the said Smith being taken into Custody the
same Morning he this informd. made his Escape
and having the aforesaid China in his Custody broke
and Flung away the same
