To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex in General Session of the Peace at Hicks=
Hall Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Anne within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under the hands and
Seals of Thomas Edwards< no role > and George Wrighte< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster
(One whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the twenty second
Day of May last Elizabeth Postgate< no role > was removed and conveyed from
the Parish of Saint James within the Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Anne as the place
of her last legal Settlement Whereby your petitioners conceive
themselves to be Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore Appeal to this Court against
the Adjudication of the said two Justices and the said pass
Warrant or Order And Pray that the Benefit of the said
Appeal may be saved to your petitioners and that the
hearing and determining thereof may be Adjourned to the
next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden
fot this County

And Your Petitioners shall Pray Etc
