To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex at their General Session of the peace holden
at Hicks's Hall in Saint John Street in and for the said County of
Middlesex Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of
Thomas Burnett< no role > Overseer of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in
the said County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an order under the hands and seals of
Thomas Lane< no role > Esquire and Paul Vaillant< no role > Esqr. two of his
Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex aforesaid (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the first day of May 1767 your
Petitioner was appointed overseer of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes

Your Petitioner conceiving himself
aggrieved by the said order of the said
two Justices of the peace Do therefore
humbly appeal to this Court against
the same and pray that this Court
will appoint a day in this present
General Session of the peace for the
hearing and determining of the said
Appeal and that the Churchwardens
and overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Clement Danes and also other
persons concerned may they Attend this
Court to hear and Abidebythe Judgment and
determination thereof Bucking the sd. Appeal
