with the Shoe to Mr. William Moore< no role > one of the Constables , And found the
Young Woman in Bed. On Mr Moore's Search [..] (As he
went first into the room where She lay) he found on her Bed a part (being
half) of the Callico Counterpane or Quilt which belongs to Mr John Hayes< no role > . Upon
Which Mr Moore told her She must get up, And he made her get up
And She went with the said Constable from the Chopping Knife to Mr John
Hayes
< no role > 's House being the White Horse; When he this Informant heard Mr.
Hayes give directions to Mr Moore the Constable to take Care of her (or Secure
her) for that Night, In order to her being Examined the Next Day.
Then this Informant returned home to his own Dwelling House &
knows nothing further of this Matter.
