Westminster to wit.


To the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. James ,
within the Liberty of Westminster ,
in the county of Middlesex : And to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St.George
Hanover Square in the said Liberty and
County and [..]

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us,
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
City and Liberty of Westminster , aforesaid (One whereof
being of the Quorum) by the Churchwardens and Over-
seers of the Poor the said Parish of St. James , That
Elizabeth Steel< no role > Wife of Thomas Steel< no role > of living gone
from her and their three Children to wit Elizabeth< no role >
Aged Nine Years William< no role > aged three Years and
Margaret< no role > aged one Year above
lately intruded and come into the said Parish of St. James ,
and are become chargeable to the same, We the
said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises upon
Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the same to
be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Thomas Steel< no role > Wife and
Children to be in the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square in the Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to require
you on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the said
Elizabeth Steel< no role > and three Children
from and out of your said Parish of St. James , to the
Said [..] of St. George
and [..] deliver unto the Churchwardens and Over-
seers of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together
with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof, who are here-
by required to receive and Provide for them according
to Law. Given under our Hands and Seals this 12th
Day of October 17 65.
