At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden-
for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the
Said County (by Adjournment) on Friday the Firstday of-
March in the Fifth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
Third King of Grea Britain etc Before Thomas Lane< no role > , George
Errington
< no role > , Gerrard Howard< no role >
Benjamin Cowley< no role > Esquires and others their Fellows Justices of our said
Lord the King Assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and-
also to hear and Determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint-
James within the Liberty of Westminster in the said County of Middlesex Have-
Exhibited their Petition and Appeal at this Present Session Setting forth that by-
Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals of William Rugge< no role >
and William Timbrell< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the-
City and Liberty of Westminster (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date
thedayof Judith Foley< no role > was removed from the Parish of
Saint George Hanover Square within the said liberty of Westminster to the said-
Parish of Saint James within the Liberty of Westminster aforesaid as the plate
of her last legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners thought themselves
Aggrieved Now the said appeal coming on this day to be heard in the presence
and hearing of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of
saint George Hanover square and they consenting by their Council to the allowing
of he said Appeal It is Ordered that the said appeal be and the same is hereby-
allowed and the said pass Warrant or Order of the said two Justices is hereby
Quashed and Vacated And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint James Westminster or some or
one of them Do forthwith Convey and Deliver back the said Poor Woman
(to gether with a Copy of this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square aforesaid or to some or
one of them who are hereby required to receive and Provide for her until they
can Free themselves from the charge thereof by due course of law.
